I had occasion to see the interview between Jon Stewart of the Daily Show, and Jim Cramer of CNBC’s show, Mad Money.

Initially, upon hearing of the feud between the two talk-show hosts, I thought it was in jest, and would blow over. Now, after seeing Jim Cramer appear on The Daily Show, I am shocked that Cramer is still employed, and that CNBC hasn’t distanced themselves from him. Cramer’s rhetoric towards Stewart quickly faded as he faced tough questions, and had his pants pulled down on national television. Below are links to both parts of the interview.

Stewart vs. Cramer-Part1 (Unedited)

Stewart vs. Cramer-Part 2 (Unedited)

I will say that I don’t generally agree with Jon Stewart’s liberal politics, but in this instance, he was spot-on.
Based on the opinions voiced by Jim Cramer, it’s apparent that he will claim to be an expert on financial matters, yet takes no personal responsibility for the information he airs on his program, and  considers Mad Money to be entertainment. He has solidly demonstrated a lack of ethics, both in his career as a Hedge-Fund Manager, and as a journalist.

I’m calling for a boycott of CNBC and Mad Money. They are both guilty of journalistic irresponsibility, and have no place offering advice on financial matters.

apparently doesn’t stay there. Who knew?

I found this article today, and nearly peed myself laughing at the dumba$$ they were writing about.

OK, for those that haven’t been paying attention these last 10 years, here’s a newsflash. THE INTERNET IS NOT PRIVATE!!  If you say it/post it/show pictures of it, assume someone you know is going to see it.

Did you not get into a good college? Maybe it’s because you or a friend posted pics of you doing a naked Keg-Stand on MySpace.

Is your wife suddenly giving you the cold-shoulder? Perhaps you shouldn’t have ‘friended’ the new skank you’re shagging on FaceBook.

Is your boss giving you more work than you can reasonably handle? There’s a good chance he saw that you used your 140 Twitter characters to let the world know how bored you are at the office.

Are the cops knocking on your door?  Guess that YouTube video of you issuing that brutal beatdown on that chick from school wasn’t such a good idea.

Face it people, the Information SuperHighway goes both ways, and the idea of privacy is a myth, just like the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus. The damage can be done as quickly as clicking your mouse, or hitting ‘Enter’.

The good news is that other people’s stupidity provides the rest of the world with endless entertainment!!

Welcome, Friend! I’m pleased to meet you, and hope you’ll visit often!951410439

You should expect to hear read my opinions and observations about a great many things, not all of which will be popular, or politically correct. I don’t consider myself to be Mr. Know-it-all, but I do pay attention to what’s going on in the world, and frankly, I’m pissed off, scared, fascinated, offended, and astonished by what I see going on around me.

Of course, like most other blogs, I will also post about the day-to-day minutia that will bore you to tears.

So, please feel free to ask questions, criticize, comment, agree, or disagree.  I’ll feel free to ridicule those that can’t form a cogent thought, or are unwilling to argue a subject from a rational, intelligent point-of-view. Sounds fair to me!!

Let the fun begin!!
