My 1st negative review!! I have arrived!!
So, I got my 1st negative comment regarding my blog. What’s troubling is that the coward that posted this comment, posted it to my wife’s blog, not mine.
Here’s the comment, as written:
I checked out your husband’s blog and all I can say is… well.. how did you two hook up anyway? he certainly has a differnt outlook on life than you do.
One visit was enough for me1
OK, so it’s not exactly a scathing review, and even if it were, I wouldn’t care. Personally, I like to be the voice of dissent. Not merely for the sake of disagreeing, but because I refuse to blindly follow any ideology, or system of belief without questioning the validity of that belief.
However, I have the utmost respect for anyone that has the courage to question their convictions, and still maintains those convictions. Please, let me be clear, I do NOT have all of the answers. Where I differ from the vast majority of people is that I don’t believe anyone else has the answers, either. And I HATE when people are so convinced of something, in spite of the evidence to the contrary.
So, Anonymous, if you are so weak minded that you can’t tolerate someone that challenges you to question what you take as truth, then by all means, don’t come back. I will ask, however, that if you differ in opinion with me, that you discuss it with me, and not on my Wife’s blog. K, thanx, bye!!
To Mandi and Lala, thank you for defending me. You ladies, I love. The rest of the world, not so much….

So this exchange made me more interested to hear about your skepticism.
I would love to see a blog post from you about what kinds of knowledge you think we can be certain of and what kinds you think we cannot.
BTW, way to be calm and reasonable.
